☆600,000 Dutch families live in poverty

Over 600,000 families are living in poverty in the Netherlands, although it tends to be temporary. Sixty percent of low income families need three years to escape poverty. The other 40 percent take even longer to get back on their feet. And for non-Western minorities it is five times harder to get above the poverty line than for people of Dutch origin.
