9.11当日フライト93便は、大統領命令で撃墜されていた事実が暴露された。
ペンシルバニアに「墜落した」とされていた93便は、ブッシュの命令でノースダコタ空挺隊所属の「ハッピー・フーリガン」というニックネームのF13戦闘機の３機編隊が緊急発進して、サイドワインダー・ミサイル２発を発射して撃墜した。そのパイロットはRick Gibney（リック・ギブニー）少佐だった。
